What's the Word on KM Shoes?

"Dear Kingston-McKnight,

In 2007 I took a position that required me to spend hours on my feet visiting restaurants in the Chicago area. I was in need of quality shoes that would support my 300 lbs on wet and slippery surfaces and still be dressy enough to look good to the customers that I visit. I bought a pair of your 3200 oxfords and have been wearing them 5 to 6 days a week for the last 13 months. The comfort of these shoes is exceptional. The arch and total foot support is excellent and the non-slip soles have always provided me with safe footing in all conditions. I have just ordered another pair of the 3200's and a pair of your 6600 high tops to wear for working around the yard. I have and will continue to recommend Kingston-McKnight shoes to everyone I come in contact with that spends long hours on their feet in wet and slippery conditions. I firmly believe that these shoes have helped to lessen foot and leg pain that I have lived with for years."

"Dear Kingston McKnight:

Your Slip Guardian shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn at any price -- even after being on my feet 16 hours straight in a hot kitchen. They keep me on my feet despite spills of every kind and they're virtually indestructible. The fact they're affordable makes them completely irresistible."

"Dear Mr. McKnight,

I have been a Chef for over two decades. When I was at a tradeshow I saw your shoes and was interested when I heard a Chef who been involved in the process in producing them. The salesman went into his sales pitch and...well, let's say I was a little skeptical in what he had said. He told me that these were the only shoe I would ever wear in the kitchen as they were very comfortable, they will mold to your feet, they are the latest thing in kitchen footwear. He also said that they would allow my feet to breathe. To my surprise he was right; they have indeed lived up to the claims of the salesman. I must commend you and your partner for a product which truly measures up to all of its claims. You have made a believer out of a skeptic."

Thank you,

"I am impressed with the quality of the shoes you sent; they fit well. Long hours of standing certainly makes one aware of the need for quality footwear. I am glad I selected your product over my previous supplier."

Sincerely,

"I just wanted to say that your KM 1500 Clog is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I was a sworn Birkenstock guy until I slipped your shoe on. Now my feet feel 10 lbs lighter and so much more comfortable. I just ordered the KM 1700 Euro Clog and can't wait to get them. And, I can't wait to see the new line in the different colored patterns. Keep up the great work."

Sincerely,
Patrick Hebert

"This is the best and most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! I have a 'EEE' shoe size and have trouble finding comfortable shoes. Kingston McKnight has brought my search to an end, by providing a 'proper fit system.'

Between going to and from school and work my feet and back would be in pain by night's end. Kingston Mcknight provided me with a comfortable and stylish shoe. I HIGHLY recommend these shoes to any one who spends countless hours on their feet.

As a student, penny pinching is a must; Kingston McKnight provides a stylish shoe at inexpensive prices. KM's customer service is amazing too! Who knew a company could and would care for its customers without hesitation?

Again thank you for your time and great customer service!"

Sincerely,
Patrick Maranuk, Student

"Kingston McKnight shoes are my favorite shoes since the day I wore the first pair in 1997 when I worked at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. The non slip soles give me the necessary safety in the kitchen at all times and the insoles are as comfortable as a jogging shoe.

My first KM shoe was the KM 3200 Oxford, and currently I am wearing the third set of shoes, the KM 1500 clog, and I love it. I am also very happy with the quality of the material. The shoe is easy to clean and still looks new after over a year of wearing.

Did I mention the outstanding service KM Shoes provide? It is simply amazing how the folks care for their customers. I met them on hospitality shows and worked with them over the phone, their professionalism and friendliness is outstanding. I recommend the shoes to everyone."

"I have worn KINGSTON McKNIGHT non-slip safety shoes and clogs since 1998. I can't express in words how this has helped me with my 10 hour clinical days. My feet are the most comfortable they have ever been. My lower back pain has subsided ever since I began to wear your shoes. I do not worry about slipping since we have gone to hard floors in medical/dental offices for sterility reasons. Slips and falls have become a concern in our office. Water, dental drills, cleaning solutions and many other things we use find their way to the floor. You absolutely cannot slip with these shoes. Thank you KINGSTON McKNIGHT!"

"Since I started wearing Kingston-McKnight safety shoes in 1997, I now have no more issues with my legs. Before, at the end of the day, my legs were hurting and tired. Not only are these shoes comfortable but also stylish. I am hooked and highly recommend them to everyone who stays on their feet all day and works in the kitchen."

"I've been wearing Kingston McKnight's slip-resistant safety shoes for over 9 years and found them to be a very high quality leather shoe that's long lasting, comfortable and most of all they prevent me from slipping and falling in any kitchen. I travel and visit kitchens all over the United States and abroad and I am always confident wearing my Kingston McKnight's shoes."

"I just wanted to tell you what a great shoe you build. As I have said before, some chefs believe the most indispensable tool in the kitchen is the knife. I have worked with dozens of different knives and with a good edge and good steel there is little difference.

My belief is a chef must wear good shoes that give support all day and all night. I have been through all the brands on the market and nothing can beat the Kingston McKnight.

You should have seen the shoes I just turned in for a new pair. They were so comfortable that I almost didn’t want to part with them. I had them for six years and they still had a good sole – I have never had a pair of chef shoes last near that long!"

"At first I was hesitant to change from the Dansko clogs in which I have been a fan for ten years now. But after wearing your shoes this past week, I will find it hard to go back to Dansko. I think the deciding factor is the weight of the shoe, yours is lighter... The Dansko sole is about 2-3 inches height, which I find has a tendency to roll. Your shoe lowers my center of gravity. They certainly are a comfortable shoe. Thanks once again for considering Marriott to test your shoe. It certainly is a pleasure testing a product which is well worth the time and effort!"

"I Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy these clogs and how much use they are getting. I have had numerous different non-slip, gas and oil resistant clogs and work shoes, anywhere from Sears Diehards to Shoes for Crews. I have never had a more comfortable slip-on clog!!! These are Great!!! I was worried at first about spending $85.00 but I'm now sold on them!!! I just wanted to let you know that you make great footwear for chefs and all my six apprentice chefs wear them. Thanks again and great job!!! I am spreading the word about these great clogs."

"I wanted to give you my compliments regarding your KM work shoes. As a deli owner, I have tried different shoes over the years, and none have performed or endured as well as the KM brand. My shoes get a quick polish every now and then, and they clean up almost as good as new! My last pair of shoes was from Shoes For Crews, and the heels caved in on me twice. My feet hurt so much that I decided to try Kingston McKnights. I know this will be the only shoe I use from now on. They are so comfortable, and I like them so much, I even wear them in my off-time. Too many companies overstate the wonders of their products, but yours are all true! Thanks for providing a great product that lives up to its claims. I encourage all of my cooks to buy your shoes."
